What we track — and what we never track
Hireboard Tracker is designed for transparent work verification. Monitoring only runs during recruiter-configured working hours, with clear consent before tracking begins.
Tracked during active working hours
- Application names and active windows you use (e.g., Visual Studio Code)
- Website domains and URLs when using a browser
- Keyboard and mouse activity frequency to determine active vs. idle time
- Periodic screenshots of work applications (limited to apps added to Detailed Tracking by your recruiter, during working hours, and with your explicit consent)
What we never track
- Keystroke content, typed text, or passwords (no keylogger)
- Continuous video or screen recordings
- Screenshots of any application, website, or window not included in your recruiter's Detailed Tracking list
- Any activity outside your configured working hours or when tracking is stopped
